Aunt Cass’ Hot Wings from Big Hero 6
Sweet and Spicy hot wings cooked in the air fryer. It cant get any easier than that! Be sure to serve with fresh sliced carrots, celery, and your choice of dip!
Equipment
- Air Fryer
Ingredients
- 1 Dozen Fresh Party Wings
Dry Rub
- 1/2 tsp Johnny's Seasoning
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
- 1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper
- 1/2 tsp Paprika
- 1 Tbs Cornstarch
Sauce
- 2 Tbs Butter
- 2 Tbs Brown Sugar
- 3 Tbs Maple Syrup
- 1 Tbs Mustard
- 1 Tbs Ketchup
- 1/4 Cup Franks Red Hot Wing Sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400F
- Mix dry rub ingredients together in a bowl.
- Evenly coat wings in dry rub mixture.
- Place wings in air fryer and cook for 12 minutes.
- Flip wings and cook for an additional 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile make the sauce. Simmer all sauce ingredients in a small sauce pan for 3-5 mins over medium low heat. Once bubbly remove from heat and set aside.
- Toss wings in a bowl with sauce.
- Serve with ranch, carrot, and celery sticks and enjoy!
