In the bowl of a standing mixer fitted with a dough hook, add warm water, yeast, sugar, and oil. Mix for 1 minute.
Add flour and salt and mix for 5 minutes until dough is tacky and smooth.
Remove dough from bowl and knead a few times on wooden cutting board. Form dough ball with edges tucked underneath.
Spray nonstick spray into large bowl. Place dough in bowl and cover with plastic wrap and towel.
Let dough rise for 1-2 hours until dough has doubled in size. (Tip: keeping the dough somewhere warm and draft free will help it rise the quickest.)
Preheat your oven to 350 F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
When dough is ready remove plastic wrap, deflate dough and transfer to a lightly floured workspace.
Cut dough into 2 equal pieces and form into loaves. Place each loaf onto baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Make sure loaves are seem side down. Cut 3 slits into the top of each loaf.
Cover with a lint free towel and allow them to rise for 1 hour.
After dough has risen, deepen your knife slits an evenly brush tops with egg wash.
Bake for 30 minutes until golden brown.
Cool fully before breaking and enjoy!
